Dear… literally everyone. Telling someone they look skinny, praising weight loss, or really even commenting on someone’s body is not okay and I’m going to break down exactly why. Diet culture teaches us that thinness should be everyone’s goal, so we’re conditioned to think it’s okay to comment on people’s body, as if someone else’s body is any of our business.
