At the beginning of the program I was holding onto the fantasy of being thin and then being able to do everything I wanted to in my life. I was doing mini versions of restricting and bingeing regularly and had lots of forbidden foods. I ate differently in front of others than by myself and I did not have a ton of physical energy.

I am now doing everything I would be if I were thin… I eat what I want. Even in front of others. Food is truly not that big of a focus most of the time (I never imagined that being possible). I have much more physical energy. And I’m aware that if I’m obsessing about food or my body, I’m probably avoiding dealing with something else. Knowing that, I’m quicker to get to the real feelings instead of using my lifelong go to obsession of food and body.

It’s about the beliefs that you don’t deserve happiness or confidence exactly as you are. This is what I like to call a “block”.

Blocks show up in all areas of life. For example, you may be feeling anxiety about working with me because your block is trying to protect you. And sure, maybe you’re not looking for coaching or you feel like you can do this on your own, which is cool with me. I only want people who are as equally invested in your transformation as I am. But chances are that if you’re still reading this, there’s a voice inside of you saying that this is what you need. If that’s the case, let’s dig a little deeper here.

One of the biggest blocks that comes up is, “I don’t know if it’s worth it,” which usually means…

“I don’t know if I’m worth it”

This block is often tied to thoughts like, “what if I fail?” or “what if I’m just not ready?” or “what if I don’t have time for this or it’s too much work for me to handle” or even, “what if my body is broken and I can’t ever learn to eat intuitively?”
